About the event
What we will do: Arrive 10.15am for 10:30am start. Please arrive at the Canalside Heritage Centre earlier to take food orders.Distance: 5 miles. Starting from the Canalside Heritage Centre, Weir Cottages, Canal Side, Beeston Rylands, over the small bridge just before the lock on the right looking over the weir. Great walk taking in Beeston Rylands, Attenborough village, Attenborough Nature Reserve Centre, nature trails with return by the side of the Trent. All on the flat with toilet stops at both centres. Lunch at Heritage centre. The centre offers hot and cold food. You cannot eat your own food on the premises. They have asked for pre-order and prepayment onthe day. Other options are available such as a bar and a cafe nearby. Some seating outdoors.
