 Long weekend 9-11 October 2026

There will be another youth hostel long weekend based near to Buxton from 9th to 11th October at YHA
Ravenstor https://www.yha.org.uk/hostel/yha-ravenstor. The prices are £142.20 - 4 bed dorm for 2 nights / £158.40 - 6 bed dorm for 2 nights. These are for the whole room, not per person.

The Angler’s Rest at Miller’s dale https://www.anglersrestmillersdale.co.uk/ looks good for food and is only 0.6
miles away. We will eat there one night and at the hostel on the other.

There will be a medium level walk on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We may spend a bit of time in Buxton
itself on one day as well.

If anyone from the long or short party wants to come and lead short or long walks
they would be very welcome.

Please contact Yvette if you are interested, using the club email address
nottinghamhframbling@gmail.com.
