Mostly on footpaths through fields and on pavements, with a few stiles. Fairly easy terrain but with one uphill section, some places which may be muddy after heavy rain and a short section on a slightly uneven verge alongside Melton Road (A606) which needs to be walked with care.

Arrive by 10.15am for 10.30am: People who arrive very early can meet in Sophia’s Café which is just by the Wolds Drive Shops bus stop in Keyworth to have a coffee/snack or late breakfast if they wish. Walk description: 6 miles. Mostly on footpaths through fields and on pavements, with a few stiles. Fairly easy terrain but with one uphill section, some places which may be muddy after heavy rain and a short section on a slightly uneven verge alongside Melton Road (A606) which needs to be walked with care.
For lunch we might stop at the Wolds Wine Estate which is near the end of the walk. Or try other cafes in Keyworth including Sophia’s. Decide on the day.

Directions by car: The Keyworth Tavern is closed for refurbishment and their car park is not available. However, there is parking on side streets nearby.…
