Car/Bus Ramble: Lambley & River Trent and Back

Lambley Dumbles, open fields north of Lambley. Lambley Village, Burton Joyce, River Trent, return to Lambley. Picnic lunch half way round and/or light lunch and drink at the ‘The Woodlark Inn’ the pub at the bottom of Green Lane at the end of the walk.

Start time: 10.15am for 10.30am. Walk description: Walk length 7 miles. Lambley Dumbles, open fields north of Lambley. Lambley Village, Burton Joyce, River Trent, return to Lambley. Picnic lunch half way round and/or light lunch and drink at the ‘The Woodlark Inn’ the pub at the bottom of Green Lane at the end of the walk.

Directions by bus: The meeting point is on the bus route via Lambley. The NCT bus is number 61 from Parliament Street (P1), Nottingham. They leave every half hour. Journey time about half an hour.
Directions by Car: Meet at the small airfield in Lambley which is on Green Lane; there is parking for cars near the airfield on Green Lane,
NG4 4QE.
Important to know: There are usually 10-15 people on these walks.
