from the Brian Clough Statue, we will explore the Market Square, head to Nottingham Castle & Robin Hood Statue, the Park & through the Victorian coach Tunnel & along the Nottingham Canal, go from Malin Hill to Commerce Square & into the Lace Market area via St Mary's Church and back into town.

About the event


What we will do: Walk length 4 miles. Meet at the Brian Clough Statue at the junction of King & Queen street, at 10.15am for 10.30am start. We will explore the Market Square via some old Victorian narrow passageways, Greyhound Street, Norfolk Place & Hurts Yard. Heading to Nottingham Castle & Robin Hood Statue via The Bell Inn & Ye Old Salutation Inn. Then heading through the Park & through the Victorian coach Tunnel & out along the Nottingham Canal to the Great Northern Railway Station building & then up Malin Hill to Commerce Square looking at the Narrow Marsh Steps & into the Lace Market area via St Mary's Church & back into the Market Square. Plenty of eating places to go to in town at the end.
