We will walk beside the picturesque river Greet which looks quite different from when we first walked there a few years ago. Also we will walk through the orchard in the Easthorpe area. An Egret was spotted near the water recently.

Walk length 6 to 6.5 miles. We can walk beside the picturesque river Greet which looks quite different from when we first walked there a few years ago. Also we can walk through the orchard in the Easthorpe area. An Egret was spotted near the water recently.
Picnic lunch outside (benches in the grounds of the minster) or possible lunch at the Minster café.

Directions by car: A612 into Southwell/ right onto Westgate/ first right down Bishops Drive, all the way to the end. The car park is on Memorial Drive.
Directions by bus: 26 Pathfinder from King Street, bus stop K1, Nottingham @ 9.10am. Get off at the 'Leisure Centre' bus stop - almost the first stop as you come into Southwell. The journey time is…
